THE MOTHERLY ASPECT OF GOD

Many people have great difficulty in forgiving themselves and others.  This is a popular subject with multiple interpretations and beliefs.  Those who refer to Moses as accusing people for their nonbelief may not understand that he was expressing the “fatherly” aspects of the Creator’s law.  It is a conditioned response.  If children are good, the father, masculine quality of reason predominates and demonstrates love for the child.  If one of the children is bad, the father punishes him.  Moses is recorded as treating his disciples and followers with the typical fatherly love.  Living in duality as we are, actions are commonly categorized as a feminine or masculine energy.

In my last book, “Trapped: Visitor from Heaven” I share how the love Jesus gave was from the “motherly” aspect of God.  Let’s face it, most mothers, the predominately feminine quality of feeling, is unconditional love toward their children.  It is unbelievable what some of us tolerate coming from our children.   As we awaken to our divine nature, we patiently try to persuade our children and others as well through reason and love, both the masculine and feminine aspects.  Threats and particularly theological threats and the fear of everlasting punishment were and are not a part of the legacy of Jesus.  Some followers have attempted to use force and threats to get non-believers and troublemakers to behave through intimidation but it is not the way of a soul who is awakened to wisdom and is genuinely filled with love.  Let’s face it.  If God used force to make us believe, the ‘children’ and their subsequent choices would be reactions stemming from fear, mechanical and not of the spirit.
“Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” is a perfect statement of the motherly attitude.  People who are unenlightened do not understand the full scope of a higher consciousness, our relationship to one another and the true purpose of life in matter. Awakened souls do.   Jesus, with all his miraculous powers at his command never forced his will on others.  He knew that it is only love and a persuasive reason, masculine and feminine energy in balance that will help another.  We cannot force a soul to awaken. 

Free will is part of our make-up.  The more we awaken to our true identity as a spirit temporarily using a physical form do we begin to understand forgiveness and at the same time turn away from negative and evil choices.  The mission of Jesus was to bring the Light of Truth visibly and tangibly to the world.  It is also our mission.  No human can be truly forgiving, which is a heightened spiritual understanding, if he or she is not tuned into the divine vibrations of the cosmic cycle.  The more we individually arouse and live in balance exercising both the masculine and feminine aspects of our nature, the greater our ability to dispel the darkness of ignorance.

There are many people who truly love but remain in the darkness of ignorance.  Complacency is the culprit.  It is too much of an effort for them to seek and arouse what they have lost as a genuine experience of God’s light.  Once we realize the truth of what is actually happening to cause darkness, we inwardly seek for light, become receptive, and forgive those who are too lazy to seek the higher wisdom vibrations of love and wisdom. Most people are steeped in spiritual ignorance.  Life is hard.  It is easier to blame family, friends, government or church for the inconveniences of lack and limitation.  We live in duality.  It is up to us to seek the forgiving mother aspect hidden as energy not fully discovered nor lived.  All the contradictions of life are understood from a higher level when we harmonize reason with love.  I do wish to emphasize that another’s cruelty is a condition where the soul is trapped in the dark ignorance of materiality.  It needs to be understood that ordinary men and women who shun the Light are caught like flies in a spider’s web of delusive inner darkness.

Forgive them for their ignorance and yet, understand that one day the mother aspect of true love will awaken and they, too, will experience a reversal of mind.  They will change from solely focusing on matter and sincerely seek the existence of the true Spiritual Light.  It is then that seekers must learn to forgive themselves for being absorbed in the false whether it is a doctrine, belief or simply the foolishness of following unsatisfying material ways of living.  Every true religion leads to God, our Source.  To actually reach our destination, forgiveness of self and others must take place.  We will continue to struggle and not experience a genuine peace until we realize the ‘mother aspect’ within.

FAST TRACK TO MASTERY

What we need is to establish a great movement to uplift mankind. But…and there always seems to be a ‘but', we who desire to be of service need to remove the ongoing ignorance lodged in our three lower force fields.  Instead of seeking a religious minister-leader for his or her personality, pleasant physical appearance, oratorical power, organizing abilities or theological degrees or intellectual college education, why not choose people who speak from direct God-contact?   “We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen” (John 3:11).

Everyone I know is complaining about the emotional, physical and material mess our world is currently experiencing.  What about the spiritual mess?  If more of us would make a commitment to our higher Host, the spirit Self, to make a conscious contact with God, love the golden light that is our true life, diminish our ego and seriously do something about developing peace within ourselves, a change for the good will happen.  Do you want to be a master of your body, mind and life?  God-contact in deep meditation will open a pure channel of soul intuition.  You will quicken through your meditative practice in the golden Silence, the inner guiding voice of conscience.  The power received in deepening meditation is subtle yet it transforms.  You will finally experience a true peace, joy, understanding that is the direct result of asking and surrendering to divine love.

When you receive inner intuitive inspiration, you won’t have to depend solely on books, lectures, seminars and sermons often preached by people who do not live them.  If you feel you could use a teacher for support, look for one who is devoted to God, truth, and lives what he or she talks about.  In India, the age-old tradition is that every would-be spiritual teacher must first learn to contact God and live a life of discipline under the tutelage of a divine teacher.    This is the ideal but not as easy to connect with in the United States.  This is why I encourage you to daily make a commitment to Silent meditation.  You will find personality weaknesses diminishing and body parts healing.

To really honor your own soul as well as honor others, you must attain balance.  Church wasn’t meant to be a social and moral organization only, but a place where a serious student could train for actual God-realization.  Genuine seekers are leaving organized religious churches and temples because for the most part they do not receive a real experience of God.  There is a fast track and it comes with individual striving and being responsible for our own journey as expanding light.

There are many techniques such as chants and prayers.  They keep the mind focused on the external.  Unless the devotional aspect of spirit is quickened in your consciousness and deep, secreted, soul-loving prayers in the quietness of solitude become part of your conscious life, it isn't always easy to understand and love the spirit of Christ Consciousness.  You must do your own thinking and realizing.  It is up to each to establish a sacred sanctuary within his own heart.  Typical humans don’t gravitate and lean toward discipline of the body and soul with divine communion.  What we need in order to lift consciousness is a revival of the true wisdom within.   Self-mastery that is actually a Christ consciousness will manifest in us when we monitor our moral values, live the Golden Rule, allow devotion to motivate us and deeply meditate.

What needs to be raised are the spiritually dead people loudly speaking their deluded version of truth.  As we align ourselves with the Divine power of the One, we transmit our God-power and do our part to release the obsessions and evils of the ignorance of cosmic delusion.  We were given will power.  Let us on our own free accord express the divine compassion and transmit the results we receive by choosing to live a self-disciplined meditating life.  Our examples will teach others that self-mastery, healing, brotherhood, and truth can be a living reality.  It is ours because the God of us responds to those who have a genuine, uncoaxed spiritual ardor and compassion for life.  It is then that we ride a solid self-mastery track as awakened people no longer trapped in the doldrums of delusion.

DEMONSTRATING HEALTH MINUS OBSTACLES

Our faith must be combined with certain disciplines and changes in habit.  A change in consciousness will often bring on what appears as a miracle.  Simple when you think about it.  By changing our thinking and harmful choices, we support the ideal nurtured by our faith.  To simplify things, break the process down into three steps.  One, recognize truth as it is in principle.  In other words, understand the perfection behind all form.  Two, keep your focus on your goal.  Three, acknowledge fulfillment of your request.   In the area of healing, I always assume that the healing process has been done and there is absolutely no cause for worry.  Commonsense is also exercised.  I realize everyone does not have the same type of confidence.  If you need to increase your confidence, begin with smaller issues until you feel a certainty and discover the joy of the results.

Pray believing that you have received and you will receive.  We cultivate this state of mind by considering similar thoughts daily.  If you are sincere in your desire to demonstrate wholeness, please avoid negative thoughts and words.  This should be very obvious but old patterns will surface.  Think of yourself as a warrior.  Be alert and get out your sword when weakness in the form of disappointment, worry, judgment and impatience tries to surface.  Look at each setback as an opportunity to practice your warrior skills.  You are changing your mind.  Some minds are more difficult to handle than others.

If there is not a healing, it could be a means of testing your faith or the faith of someone else asking for help.  How do we know we have matured in an area if we don’t have an opportunity to try our new awareness?  The illness or disability could be a carryover karmic condition that is not fully balanced.  Personally, I do not believe everything is a negative that appears karmic.  We often choose at a deeper level to experience trials to jump-start our wake-up process or fine-tune a virtue that needs extra attention.   It could also mean we are ready to learn something new in our character development.  Strangely, enough, some people on a subconscious level do not desire to be well.

There are also people who reject a beautiful healing because it upsets their daily routine and expected behavior from another.  My mother-in-law who had experienced a life changing healing called me regarding a friend who could not use her left arm as a result of stroke experienced a year ago.  I did not meet the woman.  Instead, we talked on the phone.  I offered a remote treatment and the arm returned to normal.  A month later, the woman called me stating that she was not happy about her healed arm.  Her explanation was shocking to me.  As long as the arm was disabled, her husband would willingly help her.  Now that the arm was normal, he did not.   She wanted him back the way he was and the lame condition of her arm.   We eventually do receive what we focus on.  People and circumstances are often not what they appear to be.
