The below is an excerpt from a book I am writing on healing.  The narrator is my cat Baba

MY CATS HEARING IS RESTORED

What you believe is what you get.  Although felines don’t need to do this, we suggest that you try to remember throughout the day that behind your appearance body you have an awesome perfect spiritual pattern.  You probably think that nothing happens by chance; you are wrong. It can happen by chance.  We, cats, don’t have all the moral weaknesses, guilt and judgment issues as you do but yet we get sick at times or injured.  Things happen independent of us, which produce cause and effects.   We don’t do decrees or invoke protection.  We simply are ourselves and in most cases use common sense, which is a good idea for everyone to actually, practice.

Regardless if we were imperfect or not, I know from firsthand experience that a body can actually return to perfection by asking Spirit to manifest in the part that is weak.  Remember there is a divine pattern behind every body part.  One of Mama Shirlee’s first animal healing experiences happened with the families Siamese cat.  The cat was always hissing and really jumpy.  She told me that she and her youngest son took the cat, Rama, to the animal doctor to find out what or why he was so nasty all the time.  After a careful examination, the doc said Rama had been born deaf.  They didn’t expect that answer and were of course, surprised.  Now, mind you, our feline hearing is normally remarkable.  We can hear high-frequency sounds up to two octaves higher than a human.  We have little tufts of hair in our ears that help keep out dirt, direct sounds and insulate our ears.  On top of that refinement, we have 32 muscles that control the outer ear.  Humans have only six.  Can you independently rotate your ears 180 degrees?  The point is that hearing is very important to us.  The idea that a cat was born deaf would be awful to accept if I didn’t know that matter could be manipulated.

Never did the mother and son judge Rama’s condition as difficult to change. Once they arrived home, they decided to give Rama a healing treatment.  They did discuss how Rama didn’t have negative karma and that to be always on edge was a terrible way to live.  Remember, both Mama Shirlee and her young son believed that a body could be made perfect.  They had a strong belief and faith in that way.  Natural law created for some reason or another an imperfection in an innocent animal.  The humans in this case believed that asking the Holy Spirit to manifest perfect hearing according to the hidden and perfect divine pattern behind Rama’s physical form could actually happen.

Humans with a high understanding have the power to ask Spirit to give animate life a visible and tangible complete pattern.  Mama Shirlee and her son didn’t know the details of the perfect pattern but only the fact that it exists in Divine Mind.  The Holy Spirit knows how to do everything.  That is one of the many reasons I love living in Mama’s home; she knows a lot about universal laws.   Remember, they did visit a doctor but what a doctor can’t do, Spirit can.   Why suffer when God has methods corresponding to physical, mental and spiritual needs?

It never entered their minds to doubt or worry.  When you do, messages get muddied and stops the creation.  That is why you must be clear in your intent, specific and then must let it go.  To bring forth a perfect creation, result, you must learn to trust. Mama Shirlee and her son expected results.  There is no set way of doing this.  She simply mentioned Rama’s name, and how they felt that he had the right to hear perfectly.  They asked that his spiritual ears, a divine blueprint, take control of Rama’s physical ears.  Her son held the cat and his mother said a few sentences and let the cat go.   They both assumed Rama would hear perfectly for the first time.  Within minutes, he had perfect hearing.  They knew this as a fact because they immediately ran a series of tests such as shaking house keys, playing hide and seek and using imagination in various ways to prove that they now had a cat with perfect hearing.

You see, Rama wasn’t responsible for his previous lack of hearing.  Imbalances, diseases, lack and limitation don’t exist in the spiritual realm.  So when you have a problem regardless of what it is…reach higher, think properly, and know that humans particularly can help their plants and animals by belief and focused thoughts.   Both Mama Shirlee and her son decided not to see an error condition in Rama. They saw him in their minds as hearing perfectly. Spirit is impersonal, not either good or bad.  Thoughts cause manifestations particularly ones that are repeated.

The above story is continued in the manuscript that I am currently writing.  If you would like to help me self-publish, you can donate at:

In love and light,
Mama Shirlee

MIND DIFFERS FROM SPIRIT

Some people refer to God, Spirit as Mind.  I do not and will explain why.  The mind was originally intended as an instrument of awareness.  The mind can change but Spirit-God does not change.  Mind was to be the means by which individual light, spirit, could express itself.  The mind is a tool used to seek and express our original energy as pure all-knowing spirit.  I realize that many use the word ‘mind’ as synonymous with Spirit.  The very fact that we can use the mind is in itself proof that mind cannot be spirit because it is hardly possible that anyone could use Spirit.  Spirit uses us!  When we begin to awaken to a higher reality, we are consciousness expressing as it was intended. In addition, Spirit is one power and presence and there is no duality, good or evil, in its essence.  Man can use the mind for both good and evil if he accepts duality into his consciousness.  When he accepts duality, the mind places a veil over the inner wisdom of the spirit.  As a result of this veil, which is a covering, the truth of what we innately are, we then have to go through the slow process of rediscovering divine energy by training ourselves to transcend the mind and the personality.

Spirit is true wisdom.  True wisdom cannot be changed.  To attain wisdom requires the application of science, for science is wisdom put into practice.  It is up to us to put wisdom into practice.  An individual may have great intelligence but not be wise nor developed a realization of his or her own divine worthiness.  The intellectual looks for facts, figures and verification of all that he thinks exists.  There is nothing wrong with that but often it becomes a black and white situation that must be proven to be believed.  Eternal truths are not black and white and are rarely discovered through the intellect alone.  Problems often beset a true intellectual slowing down the process of spiritual awakening.  The changeable mind can puff itself up with self-importance in the belief that it is the All, the One Source.  This is not wisdom.

The separation in the heart through the misconceptions of the mind has made the fall of consciousness one of great despair and loneliness that it becomes a monumental effort for the soul to rediscover its true identity as the spirit of God individualized.  Humans are not what they appear to be.  The things feared and the worries haunting the individual exist only in the ever-changing mind.  The very things that keep us separated from our true, pure and eternal identity are the creations of our own thinking process.  Thoughts are often monsters that we have created because we have given power to that which is not.

If we live in a conscious awareness that the only real power, presence and wisdom on earth is the divine love and creativity of the One Spirit, it becomes easier to gain genuine understanding and develop qualities of a godly life in our daily experience.  If we recognize the principles of Spirit as the universal laws of existence, then the energetic vibrations of those eternal principles will manifest as a personal experience.

If we insist mind is all there is, we continue to nourish personal fears and give fear a false reality by believing that they have power equal or greater than the Great Spirit behind all creation.  Believing in another power, as the source of life will manifest things in our lives that are best left uncreated.  A true seeker of Reality eventually discovers that the mind-soul must go beyond the appearance world, the negatives that occur and the seeking of falsity.  Mind is a tool to use.  It is not godly but can be used for godly things.  True wisdom is beyond mind and requires the application of the science of clear understanding.  When we think scientifically, we put wisdom into practice.  To think scientifically is to understand that wisdom appears as we seek Omnipresence.  It seems almost too simple, but it is truth.  By seeking the Unchangeable, the Source, all that we need to authentically evolve is provided.  Regardless of what is occurring in our outer or inner environment, we have a workable and sublime power at our disposal.

Grace exists as part of the fabric of Spirit.  Mindfulness of this truth, seeking the One Spirit although existing in the many, we break through the changing aspects of the limited mind and open our consciousness to the higher vibrations of the Christ and Cosmic energy.  “Seek ye first the Kingdom and all will be given unto you”.  Instead of seeking that which has no significance or endurance, why not seek the truth of your existence, awaken, and break through the illusion and the sleep of forgetfulness?
The eruptions and the veil will be cast aside when we allow the hidden splendor that surpasses the limitations of mind to come forth.  Once Omnipresence-Omnipotence is understood and expressed we become alive and leave the ignorance, abuse and sense of separation aside.  What manifests in our lives is a direct result of thought, word and action.  Because understanding has been limited, our bodies the temples of individualized spirit, have been long abused and neglected.  Believing mind is the only answer to creation and its changing forms is a form of abuse.  Consciousness becomes contaminated.  Where we stand, sit and walk is holy ground.  The knowledge within mind regardless of how brilliant is limited compared to intuitive knowledge, the inner knowing.  The soul-mind and the individuality of spirit ideally are to be used together as a team so the one will provide an outlet for the other.  One is a transparency for the other.  More often than not, the intellectual influence dominates and the intuitive feelings of spirit are smothered in the pompous attitude of the conscious mind.  In many ways, our animals use the application of science better than we do.  My cat, Baba, definitely puts his intuitive wisdom into practice more than most humans.

WHEN TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED - My cat Baba

If every living expression has as its substance the Light of God, why couldn’t the plant or animal join us in prayer?   If there is only one Mind and everything created uses a degree of it, isn’t this an interesting creative possibility?  It is said that anything is possible.  I believe it is.  We are co-creators, mainly unconsciously, but yet, we do create what appears in our lives.  The point of this subject is to encourage you to think out of the box and watch what shows up in your own story.

Baba, a shelter Manx cat, recently became a family member.  It was love at first sight.  Baba is gray and white with very long hair but minus a tail.  A Manx either has a stub for a tail or none.  At night, he sleeps either close to my pillow or on it.  Normally, he is gentle and very loving.  I noticed the other day that he seemed very uncomfortable when my fingers touched the side of his jaw and neck.  He actually bit and hissed at me and made unhappy noises that could only be interpreted as expressions of pain.  Something was definitely not right. Instead of taking him to a veterinarian, I gentle laid my hand on the area and asked that the healing power of the Holy Spirit correct whatever needed adjustment.

In my understanding, the Holy Spirit is a powerful aspect of the Divine Feminine.  It is always present, very comforting and never judges.  An immediate healing took place as I lay my hand on the sensitive area.

Animals do not ‘talk’ themselves out of a healing.  They are smarter in this area than the majority of humans.  They don’t have all the psychological garbage weighing them down with doubts and fears.  This was not the first time a family animal has been healed and it won’t be the last.

I would imagine that a cat responds to the Holy Spirit in the same way that it did as a kitten nursing at his mother.  Although Baba continues as a male adult to knead on my bed, I am certain he feels a warm healing is very similar to the comfort of nursing.  His wild ancestors liked sleeping on soft, pleasurable surfaces too.  Unlike our cats, they had to make their own by kneading down tall grass or leaves.  With a long history as an animal lover, I know how animals easily accept a healing.   In contrast, it is when humans exercise reason that they often reject relief and joy and the acceptance that comes when really knowing we are unconditional loved.  There is a loving and healing power called the Holy Spirit waiting to make Its Presence known.
