WHO DO YOU GIFT?

To give to others whether it is food, clothing, money or mental power helps them although it is only temporary.  The greatest gift is spiritual understanding.  To be able to give spiritual understanding and share permanent gifts, we must have the gift ourselves.  No matter how good our intention, we can only give what we genuinely have, nothing else. Wisdom as an example can only be a gift conferred on others by those who possess it.  To offer enlightenment, we must reflect the inner light.  We must spiritualize ourselves first.

How do we do that?  It takes constant effort and vigilance.  We must learn to recognize delusion and destruction so that we are no long fooled. It is then that we can help souls who are trapped and suggest methods to help them be set free.  The idea is to help one another.  If we gain freedom and not share it, we are selfish.  The ideal is to remember and be completely who we originally were as perfection and wholeness, our original face.  The greatest happiness and freedom is to be able to share what we have attained with others.  It isn’t always easy to share or I should that in my experience I find it difficult to find words for a feeling that is beyond words.  As a result, I call a relationship with the true and divine identity a love affair.  The real Self is my Beloved.  The Beloved is always with me and inspires, guides, protects and loves and is my best friend.

I reached that level of companionship after a great tug-of-war with the habits of the personality.  All the negative teasing of the typical human life were faced and discarded with a mix of relief and wonder.  Virtue, accepting spiritual identity and remembering what is true requires self-control and usually an undivided faith in the unseen.  It is not always comfortable taking a stand against what is considered normal by the unenlightened.  Good may be troublesome for a time because it takes steadfastness, patience and unswerving trust to stay awake in the midst of ignorance and evil.  To be a clear thinker when appearances in the world demonstrate an attractiveness that is not real is to learn to be a scientist.  Indulging in evil whether it is a habit that harms the body or something or someone appearing very attractive can have a gripping affect that will delay spiritual evolution.  Most people are so steeped in falsity that it never dawns on them what they have done to harm their soul.  Soul evolution is delayed and the negative effects continue to follow them in future incarnations.

The purpose of our light entering matter is to bring ‘heaven to earth’, enlighten matter.  We have the innate love and wisdom to be successful but it is up to us to culture the power of goodness and increase our divine magnetism.  To achieve the goal of the soul we eventually must recognize, develop and discipline the personality to live a virtuous life.  It is important to daily meditate.  The intuitive closeness of meditation quickens inner communion with the Source of our being.  Attunement is required…not ego or a desire for self-aggrandizement.

I’ve noticed that many people who have one grand spiritual experience will quickly write a book, set them self up as a teacher or find a speaker’s platform to express a latent egotistical tendency.  If we really wish to be genuine givers or teachers, we need to have attained self-realization or at least be sincerely striving for God-attunement and subversion of the ego.  A true gift to others and ourselves is when we are appreciative, respectful toward all religions, strive to be grounded in truth and free ourselves from dogma.  There is a huge difference between being spiritually awake and denominational observances.  If we desire to share truths, it makes good sense that we first realize those truths in ourselves first.  This is why communion with Source is a requirement.  In the Silence, the intuitive power of the soul is awakened.

The gift of giving hope to others is to first have complete faith in God.  In other words, you know through firsthand experience that the divine law works.  The best teaching we can give another is through our character and actions.  Sincerity is vital, being natural, standing firm in our experience and keeping our word.  As a lover of truth whether the gift is to family member, friend or a large group you are trying to help is normally free from racial and class prejudices and preferences.  This is a natural understanding because the reality of a human’s true identity is recognized.  The outer form is an appearance that we are temporarily using to express the soul.

To give as a true disciple of the light of Spirit, we keep our distance from people who try to compete, control or get us to compromise our inner knowing.  A true giver understands the importance of cleansing the deluded ego and undergoing a purifying process.  We also understand that some of our loved ones and close friends may not desire to receive or even recognize the gift that we have to give.
Expect nothing from others is perhaps one of the most important attitudes for one who is absorbed in his spiritual growth.  Although your firsthand experiences are genuine, not everyone will embrace them preferring someone else who may instead have a Doctor of Divinity degree.  There are many physically, mentally or spiritually sick humans who yearn to receive your gift.  To receive your devotion and desire to serve is to receive God’s healing blessing.

TAKE BACK YOUR POWER

To be free of fear, doubt and ongoing stress will not happen unless we begin to nurture our true identity.  Remember I said that you are actually a radiant spirit temporarily using a physical form?  I also suggested you refer to your true self as the host and your human personality as the guest.  The physical form is your temporary dwelling place.  The host of you is often referred to as a seed.  Although seed is a misnomer, it makes an accurate point because it must be nourished and tended to in order to visibly and tangibly grow and blossom.

You can prove your spiritual identity by accepting, caring for and loving the host who is usually ignored.  From personal experience I know that where we place our focus is where we are.  When Jesus and other great masters described themselves they are quoted as saying, “Of myself, I can do nothing. The Father doeth the work.”  Because of the common lack of understanding in the minds of men, details explaining their statements were not always given.  In truth, the ‘Father’ is our Source, the Indescribable, Unlimited and All-Knowing. When a human personality relaxes, trusts and surrenders the solving and healing of self or issues to that Source, commonly called the ‘Father’ or ‘Mother’, transformation and help is given.

I’ve been actively involved in healing work for most of my life.  If something important needs to be corrected, I ask that the ‘Host’ of me, the light of the spirit, to handle it.  In other words, the Father, Mother or Holy Spirit are one unit of cohesive Light yet, different aspects.

How can you lift your present lack, limitation or frustration to the vibration of stability that is needed?  You must start training your feeling nature.  I already shared about visualizing yourself painting any person, place or thing with the radiant Light.  In one of my books, My Own Tree, different colors are suggested for various imbalances and situations.  Visualize a bucket of light in the color appropriate for correcting a situation and coat it with confidence and determination.  The violet color is always effective against negativity.  You might as well enjoy the training of your mind.

In one sense using visualization feels like a childish game but then everything manifested is a result of thought.  Train yourself to pay attention to your focus and at the same time give the grander part of you control over your earthly life.  Stop being so stubborn. The ego personality is the one who makes the mistakes.  Take a moment and hand over your human trials to your own holy spirit.  Give the divine part of you permission to use its authority and power in your life.  Only you can stop the wheel of suffering by recognizing that there is another way.  Surrender your ego/personality over to a higher power.  This is nothing to be afraid of.  You are giving your protection, health, happiness and physical, mental and emotional existence over to the higher intelligence that existed prior to slipping into physical form.
As a physical being we can do just so much.  At some point every soul realizes this great truth.  What better time than now when we are living in a world of terrorism, uncertainty, climate change and limitation.  When you tire of stress and darkness, you will finally push through into the light of understanding and recognize enough is enough.  Why continue to deny the truth of who you are?

Everyone passes through the school of hard knocks.  It is time to take back your power, the radiance of Light.  Accept and love your holy true eternal Self.  You have everything to gain and nothing to lose except the fear, doubt and incompleteness that you previously clung to.  Time is short.  More of us need to heal and choose to live in and freely express the rays of love and wisdom.  It is our responsibility to pull the plug on illusion.

You are not alone.  There are countless helpers waiting to assist.  You have a choice to be stabilized and free.  Together, we can~

A cup I designed as a reminder we can heal.

HAS OUR TRUE WORTH BEEN SUBTLY DIMINISHED?

“Golden Elixir is another name for one’s fundamental nature. There is no other Golden Elixir outside one's fundamental nature. All human beings have this Golden Elixir complete in themselves: it is entirely realized in everybody. It is neither more in a sage, nor less in an ordinary person. It is the seed of the Immortals and the Buddha’s, the root of the worthies and the sages.”
Liu Yiming (1734-1821)

Throughout the ages, we have been told that we are a ray of the One Great Light, a child of the Creator and have a seed within that needs to be nourished so it may blossom into the fullness of spiritual maturity.  I have in the past shared the same thought with many.  Psychologically, I have come to the conclusion that calling our divine essence a seed is misleading.  I know from observation and personal experience that we are far grander than a seed waiting to be nurtured.  I will tell you what I know.
I see us from a different view.  Perhaps, you have already heard some of my stories where I have viewed and felt the presence and spiritual power of other beings.   People have told me how they are impacted by the energy that my true Self emanates.  Let me explain.  What was it that reached out to me when I demanded my young son get out of his bed and be well?  I not only held on to his outreached physical arms, I was very aware, saw and felt his very large spiritual arms of light.  His spiritual arms were not the puny limbs of a child but of a giant.  We are giants!

Frequently, when watching someone talking, his or her spiritual eternal form will clearly appear looking enormous and powerful.  Instead of stating we have a small seed within that needs to be nourished and eventually bloom, why not remember we are spiritual energy waiting to be recognized, respected and allowed to express through our small physical temporary vehicles?  To look at our identity from this view, we begin to understand that many religious teachers, poets, songwriters and philosophers, have not judged us rightly.  We are great beings of intelligent light commonly experiencing a feeling of confinement in an unstable flesh form.

Why do I see a giant human shaped light form sitting next to an infant?  You may assume it is an angel.  Yes, it could be but I know that it is the fully blown version of the individual spirit that is not fully occupying the infant.  The life force of what we are does not confine itself in bodies.  The life force is connected to us but our physical form resides within the life force of our eternal spiritual form and not the other way around.  If this is not true, why do I frequently see the largeness of our true identity as a light body?   Those who are attracted to Sacred Geometry describe our ‘carrier’ as a Merkaba.  We are not a seed but an already formed masterpiece that requires our conscious attention.

We are much more than our typical human description, a body with a mind and soul.  Our essence is ancient, powerful and is not being acknowledged for what it actually is.  Scripture does state that we are gods, not seeds.  The subject of alchemy arises when we speak of lifting our consciousness by loving, stabilizing, understanding and using it properly.  It is our responsibility in form to use the necessary discipline to anchor our light body into the energy of earth life.  What appears as an ordinary consciousness has as its hidden identity a natural and scientific wisdom and essence we refer to as spirit.

Buddhism is very good at suggesting we detach from conceptual views and govern the mind in order to produce real knowledge, purging all the false programming adopted during our long journey.  Empowerment happens naturally when we link our conscious mind and knowingly work with the light.  This is why I urge you to go back to the basics and use genuine effort to remove the ordinary mind from mundane conditioning and reclaim a reality that is best described as your everlasting golden Light.
