                                                       AN AFFIRMATION OF FAITH

I am becoming humanly what I am spiritually

My body is a temple for my soul

It is my church, perfect in its wholeness

I am the priest and my heart is the alter

My life is one of love and service toward life

I am becoming humanly what I am spiritually

I recognize that it is I who transforms the physical nature into spiritual strength through thought and desire

I recognize that there exists universal harmony and I am an integral part of the Whole

I accept loving grace, wisdom and compassion as my reality and thus my physical body becomes a sacred temple for the spirit of love to dwell

In humility and gratitude I behold my mind and body as perfect form energized by the light of truth

I am becoming humanly what I am spiritually

In trust and faith I live knowing the love of our Creator

As I walk in the newness of life, I offer my soul, mind and body to a grander frequency of spirit awareness

As I grow stronger each day basking in Purity and Presence, I offer my heartfelt gratitude for the unceasing blessings

I truly know that God is All-Embracing Love and thus we are destined to be humanly what we are spiritually

HOLY SPIRIT

It is the Holy Spirit that I turn to for healing.  The Creative energy represents wisdom.   The following is what Solomon had to say about Wisdom 7:7-12.  “…I prayed, and understanding was given me; I called upon God, and the Spirit of Wisdom came to me.  I preferred Her to scepters and thrones, and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with Her.  Neither did I liken to Her any priceless gem, because all gold is but a little sand in Her sight, and silver will be accounted as clay before Her.  I loved Her more than health and beauty, and I chose to have Her rather than light, because Her radiance never ceases.  All good things came to me along with Her, and in Her hands uncounted wealth.  I rejoiced in them all, because Wisdom leads them; but I did not know that She was their Mother.”

The Holy Spirit is the comforter and can be our best friend.  It knows what needs to be corrected.  I often say, “Come Holy Spirit” during a healing session.  To say that is for the benefit of the listener.  The Holy Spirit is always nearby.  Most people simply have forgotten.  The Holy Spirit knows what is to be corrected.   Healing is a partnership.  My attitude is one of faith, confidence and gratitude.  Cooperation is often helpful from the patient for a physical healing to manifest.  Healing is a science and science is based on facts.   The fact is…we are loved.

BE HEALED

 

Not only relief and wonder but also a feeling of joy, gratitude and intimacy take over after a healing.  I find it so interesting how mind can actually change matter.  Stranger yet, often someone who has been healed decide to reject the healing.  Strange but true.  There are actually people who judge life would be better if they refuse to be whole.  Some people simply do not want to give up patterns regardless of how painful they may be. We are our own healer.  Keep this in mind.  We must heal in consciousness first.  Not everyone is ready to take that responsibility.

A young woman with cerebral palsy put her wheel chair aside and walked after we met for a healing session.  The healing only lasted for a few weeks.  Her dad called me and said that his daughter was back in the wheel chair.  When they returned to my home, I asked her what was really bothering her.  She confessed she had been having intercourse with her boyfriend and didn’t feel that she was worthy enough to be healed.    This is a good example of how the mind dictates what happens to us.

I like facts to support miracles.  A young mother with multiple sclerosis received a dramatic healing after one session.  Several months later, she called stating that she did not want to be healed.  Why?  She couldn’t comfortably continue to accept a monthly disability check from the government as a result of her healing.  The mother wanted the checks so she could deposit them in a savings account for her child’s future education.  Her mind chose security over health.  She gradually returned to her former crippled state.

The more I observe human behavior, the more I am convinced that we create what happens to us, whether in a physical body or a subtle body.

BE WHO YOU ARE

Speaking for myself, I'm only interested in representing the Divine and helping people empower themselves, meaning their own light and wisdom.  I didn't search to become who I am.  I chose to wake up.   I didn’t study with a master nor travel to distant sacred places.  Never looking for techniques or certificates, I asked only to BE. Choosing this path, I was delighted and still am when books, people and ideas present themselves to me that are already part of the fabric of my being.  Verification comes in a myriad of ways.  We are eternal and radiant light beings.  I know because the intelligent light form behind physical form reveals itself to me.  If I can know with a certainty and use the power and majesty of the Presence, so can you. 

You do not need a dramatic entry into a higher consciousness such as the surrendering experience that opened every door for me.  Start gently in a simple way.   Perhaps, you feel a cold coming on.  Stop and with authority tell yourself that you do not have time for this inconvenience and you will be obeyed.  Your mind and feelings determine what happens in your life.  Suffering is not something you need to experience to awaken nor is lack and limitation.  You are an awesome being waiting to be recognized, cherished and consciously living in your natural body.   Your physical body is a temple for the Real identity.   Honor the entire package.  Fill your body mind and soul with a light that awaits your love and expansion.

SURRENDER

I have come to the conclusion that many of us who have accomplished a visible-tangible correction healing involved with the physical body have chosen to handle it in a scientific way.  A goal is determined and deliberate steps are taken to achieve that goal.  The steps include making a decision to change something that is unbalanced.  It is understood that behind matter is energy and that every created 'thing' was first imagined in the realm of mind and directed by the power of light. It is light energy that holds matter together.  Understanding this process is one way to acknowledge that determined thought deliberately guiding light energy can actually move and restore matter into a balanced state.  This sounds cold and dry but is actually a fact.  The process is simply another form of science and the science is the use of wisdom.

At the same time, a complete transformation of something dis-eased or distorted can be totally corrected through love and faith, which are a warmer form of science.  There are no limits to what can be accomplished in matter because matter can be manipulated.  Everything that I share is the result of firsthand experiences.  What began my journey in the realm of wisdom science, which is often referred to as miracles, is a choice that I made on my own body.  I had had surgery on my lower abdomen.  A week later, I began to experience pain, a high fever, swelling in the area of the six inch long stitches and red streaks marking the skin.  A very serious infection had developed that needed to be reopened, cleansed and sealed again.  It was morning.  I had just fed the baby his 10:00 AM feeding.  I knew an ambulance should be called.  Instead, I went back to bed and surrendered my life to a higher power.  My favorite name for the power is the Holy Spirit.

I obviously fell unconscious as I lay alone in bed.  An hour passed.  When I regained consciousness, the pain, swelling, red streaks and fever were gone.  In its place were two openings placed neatly at each end of the six inches of stitches.  The infection had drained.  In wonder, I got up, found rubbing alcohol, cleaned the incision and slapped on a very large bandage.  A firm decision coupled with faith took care of an emergency situation.  I am not recommending you do likewise in an emergency.  Evidently, I had the 'right' state of mind nurtured by an unswerving love for the Holy Spirit and surrender to a higher Power worked for me.  The dramatic choice and the subsequent result changed my life forever.

A HOLY SCIENCE

Based on personal experience, I have come to the conclusion that  the healing of any type of imbalance is actually a science.  When there is a disturbance whether in the body, mind or soul, there is a cause.  The cause has created an effect.  Often, the one experiencing the disturbance has forgotten the cause and yet, the initial disruption is the culprit.

It has become very obvious to me that a person's feeling nature nurtures a disturbance by focusing on the discomfort, telling other people, particular authority figures about the physical issue.  We experience dis-ease both on subtle and gross levels.  By focusing on the imbalance and a physician giving his opinion, the discomfort becomes strengthened and takes on a life of its own.  We now have a name for our discomfort.  Once we have a name for it, the imbalance  solidifies and becomes a living presence in the body as a result of the conclusions held in the mind.

Every day, I have the intention to add to this understanding using a lifetime of examples that prove how the levels of mind can create disharmony and through recognition eventually return to harmony simply through changing of the mind.  Excuses such as hereditary tendencies and the like will dissolve once you begin to understand how the mind works and manipulates matter...Shirlee
